April the 25th did turn out to be a beautiful day for a wedding. Who would of ever thought that we would have temperatures in the 20 degree range for this couple. Karen and Matthew were married at Westley United Church in Stoney Creek, this is a great old church with fantastic natural light from the old stained glass windows which allowed us to create great images with all natural light. The photography and reception took place at Liuna Gardens in Stoney Creek on the lake. What a lovely location, a fantastic venue with great opportunities and a great group of people to help out on the day. They do truly make you feel welcome. The day was very warm and very windy, but Karen and Matthew were greatful for the warm weather and did not worry about the wind. At one point the wind was so strong Karen announced that she was just going to take her vial off for the rest of the afternoon and enjoy the day. What a great couple to work with, lots of fun and easy going. They did deserve this great day!
Shelly, Karen's twin sister was Karen's maid of honor, a great sense of humor and a blast to work with, thanks for all your help on the day. The girls were lots of fun and willing to brave the wind and not worry about there hair. The guys, just looked great in there tux's.
We were lucky, we just finished up the day before with had a crazy rain storm that lasted the rest of the evening.
