Every year I take the time to visit our local Remembrance Day service here in Stoney Creek. I think it is important to remember why we have the opportunity to live in such a great country like Canada. While I am at the service I capture some photos of the day and try to tell the story. this year it was cool and overcast with the threat of rain. I was thinking to myself I hope the rain holds off long enough to not effect the service. But the temperature dropped and the wind picked up and rain did fall from the Sky's. Again this year a good group of people came out to pay their respects to the many men and woman that gave of their life's so we may enjoy the country we we have today. Everyone from young children from the local schools to the many older vets that come every year. I seen many friends and clients of the studio and it feels good to know that they also feel the same as as I do about our vets.
If you are a vet or a family who has lost a family member through the war, I want to say thank you for serving your country and thank you for supporting a family member who was or is in the service.
I hope you enjoy some of my images from tha day.
