Wedding season is in full swing again and it is always great to get out with a fantastic couple and their wedding party and enjoy a beautiful day and see a great couple get married. The venue was at Liuna Gardens on the lake in Winona which provided a great backdrop for a fantastic wedding ceremony and afternoon of creating and capturing this couples wedding photography. Sylvia and Freddie were a blast to work with right from the first meeting when we got together to discuss their wedding plans and through the engagement session at the studio and until the last dance at the wedding. This is a easy going couple that did not forget to have fun on their wedding day. We had a fun wedding party to work with, and they made the day a treat to be part of. The for cast for the day started out not very good as it called for 80% rain and we where having an outdoor service at the lake. But as I tell all my couples, don't worry about the weather because you can not change it and at the end of the day you are going to have a special wedding and be married as a couple. Rain or not. This couple took my advice and it turned out that we did not have to worry about the weather well into the evening as we where going into the hall to start the receiving line. And even then it stopped later on in the evening allowing us to go back outside in the evening to create some more great images for the couple. Sylvia works at a really cool job at Sinful Deserts in Burlington Ontario and she told me her boss was going to make her cake, and she wanted a really special cake. Talk about pressure, but i can tell you it was a beautiful cake and I was fortunate enough to have a piece and it was super. You really want to see them about a wedding cake. The guys from Playaz limousine really made the day go smoother with all their help, and what a fun bunch of guys to work with. Later on in the evening the dj's from D.J. Emporium provided the music during dinner and the evening of dancing. They put on a great show with many different things happening throughout the night but for me one of the great moments was the electric violin player. He had the ladies watching every move he made.
